Application Developer I - Roanoke

Performs work that involves the development, programming and support of application systems. Writes programs and prepares required documentation. Assists in the review of non-computerized operations and participates in feasibility studies. Tests, updates and assists in the consolidation of programs to assure efficient operations. Lends assistance to the programming staff as knowledge and experience permits. Collects and analyzes a variety of information and prepares reports. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with major work in data processing; one to three years related experience and/or training in computer programming; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in object-oriented programming languages (.NET, Javascript, HTML), web design, and SQL database is desired. Work 32 hours per week.
